Glorious! The defending ABA Champion Jacksonville Giants took down the St. Augustine Glory in a dominant fashion to kick off their upcoming road trip. By a final score of 137-90, the Giants improved their record to 3-0, and have beaten those opponents by a combined 135 points. A 47 point win on the road is impressive to say the least, as the Giants were rocking and rolling early on.

Brandon Davis led all Giants scorers with 21 points and yet another sharp performance from behind the arc, as he buried 4 threes to up his total to 21 in just three games. Behind him was Ben Howze, who showed out with a personal season-high of 20 points. With a pair of high scorers, Bernard Nugent was focused on playmaking as he set up his teammates the entire night, and it was all the squad needed to capture their 3rd win of the season.

A reduced season with new regulations proves to be no match thus far for the 6 time champs, as they continue to run over any opponent in their path to another ring. This weekend, the Nassau Pride are next on the Giants hit list, in what should prove to be a slugfest with both teams gathering momentum for Saturday’s contest.
