2016 AUDITION

August 10th, Wednesday, learn routine, 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (Bailey’s Powerhouse gym, Parental location, 7500 Beach Boulevard, Jacksonville)
August 13th, Saturday, review routine and learn sideliner, 12noon to 1:30 p.m. (Showtime studio, 4425 U.S. 1 South, Warehouse #611, St. Augustine, Florida)
August 18th, Thursday, mandatory rehearsal, 8:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (Bailey’s Powerhouse gym, Parental location, 7500 Beach Boulevard, Jacksonville)
August 19th, Friday, interviews (Giants Office, 1010 East Adams Street, suite 112)
August 20th, Saturday, final audition 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (location to be determined)

Bailey’s Powerhouse Gym PARENTAL LOCATION:  7500 Beach Boulevard, Jacksonville, Florida.

Showtime USA Studio:  4425 U.S. 1 South, Warehouse #611, St. Augustine, FL 32086.

Requirements:

• Female dancers 18 years of age or older
• Dance experience in jazz and hip hop
• Provide a non-returnable headshot with resume (professional photo not mandatory)
• Be of a good moral character. Jacksonville Giants are a drug-free organization.
• Live in Northeast Florida
• Dependable transportation to rehearsals, games, and appearances
• Flexible schedule and the ability to commit to Jewel rehearsals, games, and appearances.
• $25.00 audition fee

Audition Attire:

• midriff dance top and shorts, jazz shoes
• suntan tights, performance ready hair and make-up

Additional information:

• Dancers will be required to provide jazz shoes, white stiletto boots, fishnet skin tone tights, white sneakers
• Dancers will receive Jewel “perks” to include gym membership, game tickets, tanning, etc.

• Showmanship, POWER, energy, and personality
• Professionalism
• Dancers who are well spoken and can represent the Jacksonville Giants in a professional manner
• Dance technique and style
• Physical fitness and personal appearance
• Ability and desire to commit to the Jacksonville Giants for one full year
