The reigning ABA Champions went on a two day road trip to Georgia and came back home with a weekend sweep. On Sunday evening the Giants defeated the Atlanta Aliens in a thrilling, 129-120, victory. The Sunday win was Jacksonvilles 13th consecutive. On Saturday night the Giants defeated the Georgia Gwizzlies, putting an amazing stamp on an impressive weekend trip. Jacksonville improves to 13-1 for the season.

Jacksonville will now turn their attention to a rematch this Saturday night with Palm Beach at the University of North Florida Arena. The Palm Beach Stampede handed the Giants their only loss this season, 108-100, back in early December. This loss was the only one for the Giants this season and their second loss since the 2019-2020 season. The Giants are looking for revenge and will look to prove themselves this weekend in front of the home crowd at UNF.

The game at Palm Beach, back in December, took place in front of a large crowd in the gymnasium of Keiser University in West Palm Beach. The contest was live streamed on Facebook Live. Fans witnessed a physical game between two powerful ABA teams. Rashad Morgan led Palm Beach with 22 points. John Middleton (17 points) and Aaron Horne (16) rounded out the leading scorers for the Stampede. The trio helped give Palm Beach an early lead and the group never looked back.

In that game, Palm Beach held a commanding 88-72 lead late in the third quarter. However, the reigning champs went on a fourth quarter run, outscoring Palm Beach in that time frame. Maurice Mickens and Bernard Nugent both landed several three pointers with Elijah Smith adding a powerful slam dunk. Jacksonville was able to cut the deficit to 101-91 with 3:51 remaining in the game, but the defending champs ran out of time.
