The six time ABA National Champion Jacksonville Giants concluded their regular season, on Sunday afternoon, at Edward Waters College. Jacksonville defeated the St. Augustine Glory, 133-70, to finish the regular season at 25-1 for the 2019-2020 year. 

An energetic crowd at Edward Waters College witnessed a competitive first quarter from the two teams. However, the Giants erupted in the second quarter, going on a 29-8 run which gave Jacksonville a big halftime lead. Jacksonville was led by a host of Giants as ten players scored in double digits. 

Chuck McRoy led the Giants with a double-double on the day. McRoy scored a team high 15 points and also added 15 rebounds. Jacksonville out rebounded St. Augustine 73-37. The strong play on the boards helped secure the Giants 24th win of the season. The Giants also had a season high 25 steals in the game. 

As a team Jacksonville successfully landed 10 three pointers in the game. Brent Williams, RJ Wright, and Miguel Paul all contributed in the three point shooting game. Bernard Nugent (13 points) and Jerrod Tucker (12 points) rounded out the top scorers for Jacksonville.

Star of the Game: Chuck McRoy had a double-double with 15 points and 15 rebounds, both team highs. McRoy also added two-three pointers in the victory.

Turning Point: Jacksonville went on a 29-8 second quarter run. The decisive play put St. Augustine into a large deficit that they could not overcome. Maurice Mickens, Paul, Nugent, and Tucker were strong in the scoring run.

On Defense: Jacksonvilles 25 steals and 73 total rebounds helped secure the win. Nugent, Calvin Warner, and Ben Howze helped in the rebounding department.
