Miguel Paul is a Florida native who grew up in Polk County attending Kathleen High School. During his time at Kathleen his team made back to back appearances in the state championship and he was also named Polk County Player of the Year. Coming out of high school Paul was a 3 star recruit ranking in the top fifteen point guards in the nation. He began his collegiate career at the University of Missouri where he played in all 38 games and scored in the double digits three times while also dishing out 57 assists. After two years at the University of Missouri Paul transferred to Eastern Carolina University where he continued to do big things. In his first year at Eastern Carolina he became not only the first player in school history to be names an NABC All-District player but he also led his team in scoring, assists, steals, free throws made, and 3 pointer field goals made. During his final season Paul set the single season record for both assists (236) and free throw percentage for at Eastern Carolina University (87%). He also ranked 23rd in the nation with his impressive free throw shooting and recorded 7 double doubles for the season. Paul has played professionally in Venezuela and the Dominican Republic. The Jacksonville Giants are excited to add Miguel Paul to their roster this season.
